The winners of the 2014 Ocean 180 Video Challenge were selected by a student judging team, made up of over 30,000 middle school students in over 1,400 classrooms throughout the US, Australia, Aruba, Boliva, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Greece, Israel, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey. These students were responsible for critiquing and evaluating the top 10 finalists based on their creativity, message, and educational value.

The winners of the 2014 Ocean 180 Video Challenge were announced Tuesday, February 25th at the 2014 Ocean Sciences Meeting in Honolulu, HI.
